Fundraising for Construction of a Community Health Clinic in Rural Uganda.

Fundraising for the Construction of a Community Health Clinic with Equipments in Rural Uganda.

CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT:
  • Every day a child who would be a very important person in the community if saved dies in the hands of Traditional Birth Attendants, old women and in homes trying to deliver alone!
  • Women in Mubende face the highest risks of maternal mortality!
  • Every minute, a Women dies of causes related to pregnancy or child birth!
  •  When a mother dies, her surviving children are ten times more likely to die within two years!
I'm raising funds to establish a Community Health Clinic and provide much needed clinic equipment at Kibyayi Village Mubende District in Uganda. I need US$38,500 for this community health facility.

All of the funds I raise are going directly to Center for Community Transformation an  organization  that is working  in this area. $14,500 will go towards constructing the community health clinic facility   and the rest will go towards buying medical equipments that will be used in the clinic on patients; but particularly
to address health concerns  faced by pregnant mothers and children. By donating and helping to raise this money  (and/or sharing this campaign with others) you're making a direct impact to reduce mortality rates which is the highest cause of of adult female death in Mubende and mityana in Uganda.

Thank you so much for considering my cause!

Below are the images of the site where the community health clinic will be constructed. Inset is Godfrey clearing the much grown bush on the site.
